I received several hand made Christmas cards this year. So I photographed many of them so I could show them off to you. Maybe you will get some creative inspiration from them.
I didn’t have the time to give credit to all that made them. But I thank you if you were someone that sent one my way. Here they are…

And then I thought I’d share a few more photos from our December fun.
On Christmas day, we had my side of the family over. Everyone was able to attend, but I didn’t do a great job at getting good photos of everyone. We were all very grateful that my mom and dad (pictured below with my sister, my husband, and my nephew) were able to drive the 4 hours to be with us all.

Here is sweet little Simonne (my brother’s youngest daughter) pulling off the curly strands from the ribbon on one of her gifts.

And these are a couple photos I took the night before, on Christmas Eve: Lucky, our cat…

…and our Christmas tree after Santa made his stop.

It’s hard to believe another Christmas has passed. That always makes me a bit sad. So my goal now is to see if I can convince my husband to leave the decorations up a bit longer. How long do you think they should stay up?

You should leave the tree & decorations up until the 12th day of Christmas! That is Jan. 6th.
So glad you were able to gather with family this Holiday Season…….may 2022 be a year of health & happiness in ALL the world.
Glad for this information! Thanks Karen.
And I love your 2022 wish!
Thanks for sharing all of your pictures. So happy you had family with you for Christmas!
I agree with Karen about the 12th Day of Christmas but since my birthday is Jan 8th, I’ve been leaving them up until then. 😉
Prayers for a happy, healthy and safe 2022! Looking forward to Wednesday Mornings with Rachel! Thank you for all of the time you put into your “Lives”. I learn so much from you.
Hugs
hehehehe! Love it! I’ll tell my husband that we can’t take the tree down until Pauline’s birthday is over. Happy birthday!
Christmas lasts for 12 days…until Epiphany, January 6th, when the Three Kings came.
Super! I appreciate the reminder and will use this as a reason.
We could not have all my children or grandchildren this year (or last year ) due to covid but only one child, her husband and two children were able to visit for a few hours. Dinner and presents 🎁 a nice visit then off to the in- laws . But it was wonderful day anyway. I’m glad you had the family over too. Happy new year.
Hoping this pandemic will end soon. Hugs to you (virtually). And Happy New Year!
We leave our tree up till after New Year’s-it looks so bare in the house when it’s put away! Love your family pictures and your cat Lucky-we have a orange and white kitten named Lucky!
Totally agree. I think that’s why my husband looks forward to taking it all down. We get more light though the window again. Hahaha!
We had to postpone Christmas, yes Covid issues. not serious HOWEVER, my middle son was going to be in town on Jan, 14, so we celebrated with him and ALL the Christmas decorations!!!. Beautiful family.
Better late than never, right? Glad you were able to gather with your family eventually. And thank you!
