I just wanted to pop on with three cards today (that you may have seen already towards the end of my July 21st YouTube Live video – starting at the 46:35 minute mark). I had announced in the video that I was going to share these cards on my blog “in a few days” but then the paper sold out (for the second time). But good news… It’s back in stock!
So if you love that Expressions in Ink Designer Paper, just know that Stampin’ Up! has it in their warehouse again. Yippee!!
These three cards are made pretty much the same way as my July 21st Penguin Playmates cards. The basic measurements are…
- Base cardstock: 5-1/2” x 5-1/4” scored parallel to the long side at 4-1/4”
- Basic White Cardstock for the inside layer: 4” x 5-1/2” or 2-3/4″ x 4″
- Expressions in Ink Designer Paper: 4” x 5-1/2”
On this first card I also die-cut that pretty floral design from the Artistic Dies and stamped the sentiment with an image from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set. I layered it using the Double Oval Punch. Then I added some pretty Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon and a Gilded Gem for some gold on the front so that when the card opens to reveal the gold foiling on THAT side of the designer paper, it feels all matchy-matchy.
On this second card I used the same base measurements above. I also stamped and die-cut that that large flower using the Artistically Inked Stamp Set and coordinating Artistic Dies AND added a couple die-cut leaves. I didn’t wrap the ribbon all the way around, but instead wrapped and secured the ends and then sandwiched those ends when I added the designer paper layer.
The paper on the inside is so stunning in person with all the dots of gold foiling!
On this last card I used the same base measurements above but added the designer paper on the front of that one-inch wide card base section. I used images from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set, the Artistry Blooms Sequins, and the punches from the Heart Punch Pack.
This was so fun to create. The stamp set itself allows you to get the multicolored popsicle!
