I got a swap from fellow demonstrator and team member, Lisa Marshall. And I loved it so much, I immediately had to CASE the layout using other products. So I made two other versions: one with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle and Berry Blessings Designer Paper and the other with Floating & Fluttering Bundle, Borders Abound Stamp Set, and Forever Greenery Designer Paper.
And check out how the card opens!
Below are the directions for assembling and details (measurements & supplies) for each card.
Products I usedā¦ See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Directions
- Position scored card base in the trimmer half-way at 2-1/8″ (long edge perpendicular to the top edge of the trimmer), and slice from the score line out. Fold card in half to picture which way it will open and cut away (either with Paper Snips or Trimmer) the top half of the card base front.
- Emboss the lower half.
- Adhere the inside Basic White layer.
- Line up the designer paper in pattern order. Close the card and add the outer two pieces of designer paper first about 1/8″ away from the side and top edges of the white. Then add the middle piece.
- Attach the ribbon.
- Then after stamping and die-cutting or punching, add the front pieces and embellishments.

These are so fun to make too, Ilene! I think you’ll enjoy this style for sure.
Love this! Can’t wait to case. The layout is total inspiration. Thanks for sharing.
Yay! Thanks Lin. š
I had fun making this one – I used the daisy paper from the Flowers and Field DSP – love the look!
That paper would be beautiful with this card layout! Glad you enjoyed this idea Meghan.
Gorgeous cards! Would love to make some but I canāt figure out how to make it. Hopefully you can make a video tutorial sometime. Thanks for all your inspiration.
Sometimes video tutorials just make things clearer. I’ll put that down on my list. Thanks Cheryl.
Rachel, I saw these pretty cards on Pinterest today. I have some of the DSP for each card and will be CASEing them soon. It is fun to be reminded to pull some of the pretty older papers. Enjoy your day!
Hi Hilda. That was one of THE best paper packs. Glad you were inspired. Thanks for your sweet comment.
