Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage November 2019 is happening this weekend in several locations around the globe. The “Live” 3-day event was in Dortmund, Germany. (And I say was, because Germany is several hours ahead of where I live. Their event is now over as I am posting this. You may have seen photos out there on social media.) The “Local” OnStage events are/were all over the globe. In the US they are in Hartford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Lansing and Portland.
I flew into Portland Thursday afternoon along with several fellow Stampers With ART demonstrators. Here we are at the airport in Minneapolis ready to take off.
And then I joined Vicki Spicer, Ashley Kuphal (Cards by Kuphal), Nancy Forsberg & Kayla Cory (Stampingbae), and Mary Marohl. We rented a vehicle from the airport and saw some of the sites. We drove east and had a late lunch at the Thunder Island Brewing Company by the Cascade Locks area.
Then we walked out to the southwest tip of Thunder Island and took a few photos of the the Bridge of the Gods and the surrounding beautiful area. What a fun and amazing time!
On the way back we stopped to look at a waterfall called Horsetail Falls. I didn’t get many photos…sorry. And it was getting dark out by this time.
We also stopped to shop at a beautiful place called Multnomah Falls Lodge. And on the way back to the hotel we picked up some water and snacks at Target (of course). Before calling it a night, we gathered together with a few more gals that are here from our group and exchanged hand-stamped gifts (we love to create for each other!).
So many clever ideas and packaging!
Friday morning at hung out in the breakfast area and visited a LOT. Nancy, Kayla, Mary, Ashley and Vicki left at 8 AM to do more Oregon sight-seeing. But I wanted to stay back to meet up with a few others in our group that hadn’t arrived yet, to get caught up in emails, and to relax a bit before the CenterStage event that night. I even declined going to explore with Cheryl Lee (my roommie), Marciene Ingram, Kristie Strum and Teri Zupancich when they took off to explore downtown Portland (guess I’ll have to come back someday). I think I just needed a low-key day.
And it was fun to see other fellow demonstrators in the hotel lobby that I only get to see every year or so at these events. Here I am with Deb Allen, Ann Clemmer and Denise Waddell. Denise is my 4th level upline.
CenterStage Friday night was very nice. This event is for those who have the title of Silver Elite or higher.
They really know how to make us feel special.
Here I am with my sweet friend and roomie, Cheryl Lee.
Cheryl and I sat with Pattie Berg, Cheryl Hamilton and Sandy Hill. Such wonderful company!
When we got back, a bunch of us from our group gathered in Teri and Marciene’s room, exchanged a few gifts and had lots of laughs. (I’ll share photos of those gifts later.)
We all got an early start this morning and we were at the Expo Center around 7:30 AM. I was a volunteer, so I helped to check in demonstrators when the doors opened at 8:30 AM. That was a blast to meet new people and see old friends.
FEAST YOUR EYES! Here are a few photos of the display boards showing new products that will be available in the 2020 Spring Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Brochure.
I’ll share more photos tomorrow. In the meantime…the catalogs are in our hands now!!! I’ll be ordering some products early and sharing them with you on Facebook and on my blog. So stay tuned!
