While I was waiting for some of my new Sale-a-Bration products to arrive, I quickly put together these pretty and easy-to-make greeting cards to send out to a few in my Stampers With ART community who have birthdays this month.
The first one in the upper left was one I came up with and shared on my blog back in July. It was of course the inspiration for the rest. Click here to see that July 19, 2016 post. And then I just used another piece of that Serene Scenery Designer paper to complete the card in the lower right and a couple sheets of the new Falling in Love paper pack and a couple sheets of the new Cupcakes & Carousels paper stack (both from the 2017 Occasions Catalog) to make the other four cards.
Measurements:
- Whisper White Thick Cardstock: 11" x 4-1/4" folded in half for card base (The upper left card has a Pool Party 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base.) & a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" scrap
- Designer Paper of choice: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"
Tips/Directions:
- Stamp the word image and trim around it leaving a small white border.
- Adhere this to the metallic doily using SNAIL. Trim the excess doily away on the edge that will be connected to the edge of the card.
- Attach the designer paper to the card front.
- Then add the "friend" piece to the card.
- Lastly stick on a metallic element as a dot on the "i" of the word friend.
