Birthday Bouquet is such a beautiful set of designer papers! It was introduced in the Occasions Catalog this year and has been a big hit.
One of my club hostesses just ordered it two nights ago, and that reminded me that I needed to share this card with all of you!
It's super simple to recreate. And if you don't have the Birthday Bouquet designer paper (or if it sells out before you have a chance to get it since it's on the list of retiring products), I'm sure you could apply another decorative paper to this card design.
Measurements:
- Watermelon Wonder cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded in half for the card base
- Mossy Meadow cardstock (retiring): 1-3/4" x 5-1/2" and a scrap to punch out scallop oval piece
- Whisper White cardstock: scrap to punch out oval piece and a piece that is 4" x 5-1/4" for the inside of the card
- Birthday Bouquet designer paper (retiring): 1-1/2" x 5-1/2"
Tips:
- Stamp the large floral image with Watermelon Wonder ink onto the bottom right corner of the Watermelon Wonder card base piece before adding Mossy Meadow cardstock and designer paper.
- Stamp the "for you" sentiment onto scrap white. Then using the Oval Punch upside down so you can see where you are punching, punch out the words.
- Attach the scallop oval piece with two Dimensionals.
- Add small rhinestones to a few of the flowers on the designer paper to give the card a little more "sparkle."
Thanks so much for visiting today!
