Last weekend I had some scrapbookers over for our monthly scrappin' class. I thought I would share those pages with you today.
Take note that some items are retiring AND some are not available yet. So if you would like to duplicate these pages and need the products, be sure you gather these items up by May 31st if not sooner since these items COULD also sell out before that date.
The products that won't be available until June 1st include
- the Scenic Sayings stamp set
- the Copper Embossing powder
- the Affectionately Yours Designer Paper
- the Love & Affection stamp set
- and the Floral Affection Embossing Folders.
The full supply list is shown at the bottom of this post minus the Copper Powder and the Scenic Sayings stamp set. (For some reason I couldn't get them to link yet.)

- Whisper White cardstock: 1-1/2" 2-1/2" for the small flowers
- Crumb Cake cardstock: 3-1/2" x 3-1/2"
- 2015-17 In Color Envelope Paper (solid Cucumber paper): 12" x 4"
- Affectionately Yours Designer Paper (Patterns: Copper flowers on Crumb Cake, Night of Navy flowers on Crumb Cake, Cucumber Crush print on Crumb Cake, and Cucumber Crush and Daffodil Delight floral strips on Crumb Cake): 12" x 1/2" of each of the 4 patterns
Tips:
- When embossing the top and bottom portion of the envelope paper, the embossed areas will crack the fibers of the paper a bit and expose the white core of the paper. You want this! It makes the outline of the flowers more prominent and gives the layout a little more white to match the white flowers.
- To emboss the 12" x 1-1/2" Night of Navy strip of cardstock, emboss one end first, then the other. A seam or empty spot may occur in the middle, but this will get covered.
- Stamp and emboss the copper words and flowers before cutting. I used the 2-3/4" circle framelit to die-cut the "oh happy day." I used a paper snips to cut out the flowers
- Punch the end of the 1" x 3" Daffodil Delight piece with the Banner Triple Punch. Then stamp. This piece will cover up the seam and/or empty area that may occur after embossing the 12" x 1-1/2" Night of Navy strip.
- Attach the flowers and the "oh happy day" title piece to the pages using Dimensionals. Everything else is adhered with SNAIL or the Fine Tip Glue.
I love the versatility of these pages. I could see all sorts of photos in this layout…wedding, birthday, anniversary, travel, vacation, outdoors, kids, animals, etc. "Oh Happy Day" is a great title. In fact there are a few other good word images to use from that stamp set, Scenic Sayings in future scrapbook page layouts.
Thanks for visiting today!
