I love every product in the Botanical collection – the stamp set in the Occasions catalog, the matching framelits, the stamp set in the Sale-a-Bration catalog, the designer paper, the vellum in the Sale-A-Bration catalog, the jewels, and the colors in the cardstock pack. I think the only product I didn't purchase was the washi tape. (Can't own it all.)
Here are the 12×12 Scrapbook pages that my Scrappin' Sunday participants will be making this weekend. This design works out great for a class setting because everyone gets to "taste" a lot of product. But because I am only using a small amount of each, it's cost effective for a demonstrator's budget.
Here are a couple things I did to make my designer paper and vellum go a long way. First I used just a 3" x 6" piece of designer paper from 2 of the 6 different patterns. So in a class setting with 2 sheets of each design, I can cover 16 participants with one pack of designer paper. AND by cutting each piece diagonally, the designer paper can influence more of the layout.
For the vellum, I cut my leaves from the middle of one 6" x 6" sheet. Those cut outs disappear when the Cajun Craze cardstock gets attached. (With vellum be sure to put adhesive only where it will not show through. In this case the adhesive is between the cardstock and the vellum and then again on the back of the vellum under the cardstock layer to attach it to the black 12" x 12" page.)
I've listed all the supplies used to make this layout at the bottom of my post in case you would like to view them in my store.
Here are a few other helpful bits of information…
