I am so inspired to create lately with all the fun new products I've gotten from the Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. Yesterday I stamped lots of cards – mainly because I needed to come up with some for an upcoming event, but also because I couldn't stop! And the Rose Garden thinlits were one of my favorite new products to play with.
Here is a wedding card I created using these thinlits and coordinating stamp set, Rose Wonder. You can purchase them together (in a bundle) and save 15%.
Measurements:
- Sahara Sand cardstock – 5- 1/2" x 8-1/2" folded in half and 3-3/4" x 2-3/4"
- Shimmery White cardstock – 1-3/4" x 2-3/4" and 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" for the inside of the card
- Cucumber Crush cardstock – 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and 1-1/2" x 1-1/2"
- Watermelon Wonder 1" Ribbon – about 5"
Tips:
- Position the Cucumber Crush scrap pieces of cardstock under just the leaf areas of the large rose thinlit & die-cut. Trim off excess cardstock (if any).
- After punching one top corner of the smaller Sahara Sand piece, flip the cardstock over to punch the opposite corner. That way your punched corners will mirror each other.
- To get the darker edges, sponge the Sahara Sand cardstock pieces with Sahara Sand ink.
You might also notice a little shimmer here and there. The glitz on the raised dots (shown close-up in the photo above) comes from the Wink of Stella pen – another favorite new product of mine. Just paint it on! The sparkle on the white cardstock below comes from the cardstock itself. Our Shimmery White cardstock is a very nice, elegant alternative to the Whisper White.
The Rose Wonder stamp set has some beautiful fonts, phrases and images. This stamp set paired with the coordinating thinlits is pretty much guaranteed to produce some amazing greeting cards, scrapbook pages and other paper-crafted art.
Are you on Pinterest? The Rose Wonder bundle is pretty popular. I invite you to follow me and see what I've found with this bundle and all the other new ideas I've been finding and pinning lately.

Gorgeous card! Love the ribbon for a pop of color and I love the leaf die. I haven’t ordered this bundle yet but it’s at the top of my wish list for my next order.
Thanks, Kim. I really couldn’t stop playing with it yesterday. I had to force myself to put it aside so I could create the rest of my cards for an upcoming event. LOL
