"DSP" is the Stampin' Up! acronym for Designer Series Paper. We have LOTS of fabulous new sets of DSP, but Timeless Elegance is absolutely at the top of my list for my wedding, vintage, and elegant projects. I can definitely see a scrapbook of ancestry done up with this set of papers.
The sheet on the far right in the above photo is the one I used to make this card.
I cut out a piece that was 4" x 5-1/4", water-colored the flowers and leaves using two of our new In Colors (Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron), then coated the entire surface of the paper with VersaMark ink after the watercoloring had dried.
VersaMark ink is a clear, sticky ink. So it is perfect for "heat embossing" projects!
So next I added Iridescent Ice embossing powder over the paper which stuck to the VersaMark ink. After tapping off any excess powder, I used my Heat Tool to emboss – to heat-set the powder.
And this turned the matte surface of the DSP into a shiny, glittery surface!
Try adding Iridescent Ice embossing powder to change the surface of one of your favorite DSPs. I bet you will love the results.
