Stamp Out Autism Blog Hop… #stampyourartout #stampinup - Stampin’ Up!® - Stamp Your Art Out! www.stampyourartout.com

Thank you for visiting today! Louise's blog may have sent you my way. Doesn't she have beautiful projects?!

I am participating in another blog hop this weekend! (Click here to see last weekend's blog hop.) The purpose of our hop is to help raise awareness and funds for those affected by autism.

You can help out by…

  1. Ordering Stampin' Up! product – I'll be donating 20% of my April 11th through April 19th sales. Click here to shop my online store and to place your order for product.
  2. AND/OR by Donating directly – Any amount helps. Click here to access my donation page. I have a campaign page set up with Autism Speaks – an autism advocacy organization in the United States that sponsors research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments, and the public.

We have nearly 100 demonstrators helping to make a difference here in the US, but also around the world! And so far we have collectively raised over $23,000!!! Thank you if you have already contributed in some way.

Those of us demonstrators participating in the blog hop are also each sharing a bit of information about autism to spread more knowledge. Here is my tidbit…

My stamped project that I'd like to share today is made with the official color for national autism awareness month! It is a fun and easy card to make for a graduation, retirement, birthday…any accomplished milestone.

I used the Lucky Stars embossing folder on Night of Navy card stock, the Stars Framelits with Marina Mist and Brushed Silver card stock, Night of Navy and Marina Mist Classic ink pads with the Bravo stamp set on Whisper White card stock popped up with Dimensionals, and some Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers. Super simple!

Measurements:

  • Night of Navy – 11" x 4-1/2" folded in half for the card base
  • Whisper White – 2" x 4-1/4" (and 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" for the inside)
  • Marina Mist – 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" scrap
  • Brushed Silver – 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" scrap

I created a quick clip originally as a training video for my online team event held last weekend. It's nothing fancy, but you can view it for how to get the multicolored half & half look. There is a reference to me sending out this card "to a few of you"…that is because a few in my community of stampers received the card shortly after the team event. (No judging my nail polish! I'm a bit more casual with my team training videos. LOL)

Here is a close up, so you can see the beauty of those Epoxy Stickers and the actual shimmer in the Brushed Silver card stock. I love things that shine!
