Here's a fun nautical card we made this weekend at Stamp Camp using Stampin' Up!'s new Hello Sailor stamp set (available in wood-mount or clear-mount) and coordinating designer paper, High Tide.
This is a "floating image" card. The blue scallop circle is attached to a window sheet, so it has the appearance of floating in mid-air.
To hide the adhesive needed to attach the window sheet, I added designer paper to the inside of the card and another back-side scallop circle center accent image.
The card is 4" wide (rather than the usual 4-1/4" wide), so for my class I was able to get nine 4"x4" window pieces from one 12"x12" sheet. (No waste with the designer paper either.)
I have another fun card using window sheets to show you on Wednesday. Hope you are able to check back in and visit.
