You can find Stampin' Up! items in practically every room of our house. (I'm a little addicted to the products I sell.) But I am REALLY getting crafty on the main level of my house this holiday season, so the paper crafting projects & embellishments are everywhere.
Many "moons" ago, I purchased this adorable Santa. It has become a favorite Christmas decoration in our house…so much so, that either last year or the year before, the original star that was dangling from the tip-top was broken off by some small, curious hands. I was pretty bummed at the time, but that's what happens in a house with children.
This year, I had the perfect item to use as a replacement, though… Stampin' Up!'s Frosted Finishes Embellishments to the rescue! I put two of them back-to-back with Glue Dots and then used a jump ring to attach them to the wire loop at the top. Super quick… super easy! AND… so much more sparkly than the original star!
I recently added some twisted wire-accented photo frames to the wall in our entryway. Because I needed to cover up areas where I had severed the original "once one, now two" frame piece, I grabbed my container of Antique Brads. I found 6 pieces of the perfect matching brad and simply wrapped the prongs from the brads around the blemished areas of the frame. A Glue Dot under each one is helping to hold them in place.
