Today I thought I'd post the second of three wine bottle gift tags we made at the September What To Give class. This one is perfect to attach to the gift for the family that hosts the turkey dinner this year.
Keep in mind that all tags (this one and the other two mentioned above each have a top section that is 3" x 3". So when punching your hole for the bottle, you need only to insert your circle punch all the way in and center it to punch. This will place your hole directly in the center of that 3" x 3" section.
I really love that birch bark paper! It can be found in our Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit in the Holiday Catalog (see supply list below). A little hint, though…use the Multipurpose Liquid glue to attach it to your project.
I've been really enjoying our new Foil Sheets paper from the Holiday Catalog, too. Here I die-cut a leaf and attached a portion of it to the card stock. I trimmed off the excess, then attached another section of this leaf to another area on the card stock. After trimming off the excess again, I attached what was left over and once again trimmed off the excess. So what looks like 3 separate leaves was really one leaf from the start.
Antique Brads are one of my 'go to' accessories. Oh, I hope these never get discontinued. They add so much richness to a project. And they are great for masculine projects, too.
To get this multi-colored stamp image, first fully ink your stamp with the lightest color. Then turn your stamp over and (starting with the next lightest color) use sponge daubers to 'daub on' color to the rubber of your stamp. When you have all the color applied, moisten the ink with your breath (use an 'H' sound when exhaling). Then stamp onto your card stock. Ta-da!
