There was a card that I got with my swaps from the July Stampin' Up! Convention that I thought was pretty great. It had a unique layout and was super easy to duplicate. So I recreated it…twice. Here are the two versions I came up with. This Christmas version was one I made available at my September Card Café event last week.

I love the simplicity – 3 strips of vertical Washi Tape on the upper left, a "banner" across the top, and an image in the lower right corner for balance.

See the green rhinestones? These are just our regular clear rhinestones colored with Sharpie Marker ink.

Sassy Salutations really works for the whimsical look on this card.

My Halloween version also is very whimsical – a tilted witch's hat and a fun font in the banner. I made this card for a swap at this past Sunday's Leader Share in Medina, MN (a grand event held twice a year for demonstrators who are performing at the Senior Supervisor level or above).

This time I used an orange Sharpie on the rhinestones. 🙂

I love the message on the inside. Don't you?
