For Wednesday’s Online Paper Crafting Class I shared two cards featuring the Full of Life Suite of products. But I actually made three when I created for that All Star blog hop post/class.
I knew I wouldn’t have time to share them all. In fact, mentioned in the video for my live class that the leaves die was one of my favorites (about 2 minutes in) and I was thinking of this third card and how bummed I was that I wouldn’t have time to also share during the class. 😉 So today I’m showing you that one. I love it, and I hope you do too.

Measurements
- Basic White Thick Cardstock
- 4-1/4” x 11″ scored parallel to short side at 5-1/2” (then trimmed up – see directions)
- Scraps for die-cutting three sets of leaves
- Full of Life Designer Paper
- 2” x 5-1/2”
- Basic Black Cardstock
- 1-3/8” x 4”
- Scrap for stamping and punching sentiment
- Iridescent Striped Ribbon
- (2) 3-1/2″
Directions
- Cut away two sections from the front of the card base piece…cut in on the score line 1/4″ from the left and 1-3/4″ from the right. Then make two cuts from the bottom up to the ends of the cuts on the middle score line to remove the 1/4″ x 5-1/2″ section from the left front and the 1-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ section from the right front.
- Open the card base. Mask a 2″ x 5-1/2″ section right under where the front flap folds down. Then mask off the complete underside of the front flap. (These masked areas will remain white. And the 2″ x 5-1/2″ section will be where you can what you want to write on the inside..) Use Blending Brushes to put a faint amount of color to the left and right (following the colors of the designer paper) as shown.
- Add the designer paper to the front of the flap. Add the die-cut leaves (sponge glue on the back, but keep the glue away from leaves that will extend beyond the flap.)
- Use Tear & Tape to add a couple strips of ribbon.
- With Dimensionals add the Basic Black piece that has been stamped and embossed with the “Thinking of you” sentiment.
- Then embellish with Iridescent Faceted Gems.
It’s such a pretty card! I had a hard time choosing between this one or the hearts one for my class. But I decided that this one was easier to explain with just words.
