More new Stampin' Up!® products will be released September 1st when the 2016 Holiday Catalog goes live. But did you know?…Demonstrators could get their hands on these products this month (one of my favorite perks), and I've had fun playing! I've already created swap cards, class scrapbook pages, class cards, and team projects.

One of my favorite bundles for Halloween is the Spooky Fun stamp set and the Halloween Scenes Edgelits dies. Bundles are great because the products are made to go well together. Plus you save 10% when you purchase bundled items together. How nice is that?!

I designed this card for my online team event last week. Those in my Stampers With ART community received make-n-take materials in the mail, and this was one of two projects that we created together during that online team event. I'll share my other one with you when I once again participate in the Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop Wednesday evening! So watch for that.

I got the idea for the sky in my card when I saw this card below on Pinterest by Sharon Burkert. Isn't it fun?!

Measurements:

  • Rich Razzleberry cardstock: 11" x 4-1/4" folded in half for the card base
  • Whisper White cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" and 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" for the inside.
  • Basic Black cardstock: 4" x 2-3/4"

(Links to all the supplies I used are at the bottom.)

Basically I masked off the top inch and the bottom inch of my Whisper White cardstock with sticky notes. After stamping the moon I then masked the inside of it with a section of sticky note that had been punched out with the 1-1/4" Circle punch. The last sticky note I used was a curvy one. I cut it beforehand with the curvy shaped die from Swirly Scribbles.

I began at the top, placed the swirly cut sticky note just a little under the top sticky note and sponged on Perfect Plum ink. I moved the swirly sticky note down a bit and sponged on Rich Razzleberry ink. I moved it down a bit more and sponged on Perfect Plum ink again. And I kept going until I reached the bottom section just above the bottom straight sticky note.

Next I removed the circular sticky note from the moon and masked the outside area around the moon with a sticky note that had a 1-1/4" Circle punched from the center. I sponged on Daffodil Delight ink and then Crushed Curry ink just in the bottom right corner.

I then removed all the sticky notes, stamped the bats and the word images, and added the die-cut tree and Halloween Night Enamel Dots.

For the final step, I just used SNAIL adhesive to assemble my card.

Here are the products you would need if you want to recreate this card. Keep in mind that a few of them can not be purchased until September 1st (unless you are a demonstrator).
