The blossoms in this stamp set are so stunning that everything I've seen made with this image is simply beautiful.
To recreate this card, you'll want to first heat emboss your image onto vellum with white embossing powder. Next flip the vellum over and use daubers in a soft circular motion to apply the ink. The colors will appear slightly softer when viewed from the front. Stamp Your sentiment onto Whisper White card stock the same size as the vellum in a dark enough ink…
…that will allow it to show up when you overlap the two together.
Attach the vellum to the white card stock using brads. Then attach to the card base. I used Dimensionals to give it just a little lift off the card, but the embossed image will definitely "pop" all by itself.
Here is a quick video to show how I made this card.
Thank you for stopping by today. If you checked out Monday's post, you may be curious to know which card was the most popular… Most votes were cast for the apple tree card. Thank you for all who shared their opinions. That was fun! Also, I just wanted to remind you all that I am participating in a fundraiser for autism this week. This is beautiful. I did something similar on my blog on April 6th. I colored in the blossoms behind the vellum and it looked great. I’m going to try your version as well.
Thank you for sharing!
