Have you seen all the fun boxes that are being made with the new Curvy Keepsakes die? There are some crazy creative ideas out there. Click here to see what I've pinned on my Pinterest board. This die is so popular, that it's on backorder right now. So if you decide to purchase it, just keep in mind that you'll have a little bit of a wait.
My mom fell in love with this die during our latest crafting retreat in October. So she "cranked" out a ton of boxes and then surprised my family on Halloween with these adorable candy-filled containers.
Look at the punch art detailing in her scarecrow boxes. She was inspired by one that was created and pinned by fellow demonstrator, Darla Watson. Thanks, Darla!
She wanted her box to open and shut without removing the straw (raffia), so she attached it to the outer flap – the flap that closes last on the box. Clever mama.
If you decide to add the Curvy Keepsake box die to your crafting supplies, the Sizzix Big Shot is THE important tool that goes with it. You can find these tools in my online store by clicking on the images below. And as always,..your order may qualify towards Loyalty Rewards. And if your order reaches $150+, you can also redeem hostess rewards!

I found another adorable version of the Curvy Keepsakes box on Pinterest. This one I pretty much copied from fellow demonstrator, Erica Cerwin. Thanks, Erica! I made several of these caramel apple boxes – one for each of my Paper Pumpkin subscribers. (The red striped straw comes from the June Paper Pumpkin kit.)
Notice that the straw is flattened out on the bottom half so it can just be inserted into the "apple." Wouldn't this be a fabulous idea for place setting favors at Thanksgiving dinner?! Add a few caramel candy treats inside and you'd be set.
