Here is a simple and elegant card that could be given for many different occasions…as a sympathy, a wedding, an anniversary, a birthday, a get well, a thinking of you, a thank you, an Easter, a graduation, a retirement, etc. The cards with pretty floral floral images always seem to be SO versatile.
Dazzling Details was my "sparkle of choice" for this card. It added a raised center to the flower without being too obvious like a Large Rhinestone might have been.
The Dimensional underneath and the curl of the petals with the Bone Folder help to create a more realistic flower.
This stamp set is one of my favorites! I love that so many of our Stampin' Up! products coordinate. This stamp set can be purchased with it's matching punch, and the bundle of the two products together saves a purchaser 15%. (See the supply list below. Clicking on the images will lead you to finding them in my online store.)
My design was inspired by a swap card that I received from my sister demonstrator, Carol Rosengren. She CASEd the design from one that Becky Roberts made and shared on her blog. Becky's card used Stippled Blossoms (wood-mount or clear-mount), A Dozen Thoughts (wood-mount or clear-mount), and the Rhinestone Basic Jewels. (Sharing is such a wonderful thing!) Thank you, Becky and Carol.
