Today I’ve got another Kits Collection Kit to share: Hooray For Honeycomb. This kit with berries, rainbows and sunshine images has a festive summer vibe. And the celebratory cards include expandable 3D honeycomb shapes. It’s a cheerful and unique kit.
I did some re-designing with it recently and ended up making twelve cards from the supplies of three! So today I will share how to quadruple the cards from this kit AND share my tips for sending/mailing these unique cards.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these cards with this Hooray For Honeycomb Kit, Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, the 2″ Circle Punch, and other Stampin’ Up!® product. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. Measurements for one set of 12 cards …
- Basic White Cardstock
- (10) 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored ½ way at 4-1/4”
- (2) 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 2-1/8” and at 6-3/8”
- Berry card base from kit
- (4) 2-1/8” x 5-1/2”
- Rainbow card base from kit
- (2) 3” x 4-1/4”
- Sunray card base from kit (center of rainbow)
- 3-3/4” x 5”
- Balloon card base from kit
- (4) 2-1/8” x 5-1/2”
- Envelopes from kit trimmed open
- 3-1/4” x 4-1/2” solid color (yellow & blue)
- (2) 2-1/4” x 3-1/4” solid color (coral)
- 4-1/8” x 5-3/8” print (rainbow and balloons)
- (2) >2-3/4” x 4-1/4” print (berries)
Three of the 12 cards will get the honeycomb shapes. Remember to adhere only one side, label the other side, and keep them flat if you need to send/mail them.
Because once they are opened, they are set to stay that way.
