I gave you the heads up a couple days ago that I was going to share with you cards from my Silver Elite Retreat that I hosted the weekend of January 17-19. Today is when I’m presenting the first of those two sets of cards. One is an interactive “faker shaker” card (so fun and easy to make), and the other four I would consider “fun-fold” cards. And they all feature the fabulous products from one of the most popular suites in the new January-April 2025 Mini Catalog.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these cards with those products from the Wildflower Birthday Suite and other coordinating Stampin’ Up! product. And now Iām sharing that video here in my blog post. My January Paper Pumpkin kit arrived last night. Yep! I’m not one of the subscribers lucky enough to get my kits early. š¤£ Thankfully my friends Nancy & Kayla loaned me one of theirs so I could get a head start. I designed my first set of alternate projects on Monday using the contents of this card kit and a bit of other coordinating product. I’m sharing those with you today. Then I’ll share more on February 7th for the “A Paper Pumpkin Thing” blog hop. Please be sure to visit again. Then I create and share one more idea which I contribute to the collection of exclusives that my Paper Pumpkin Creatives Team is currently compiling. I share these freely with my Paper Pumpkin subscribers and team members and will be offering them for purchase on February 1st here in my Tutorials for Sale page.

But I never assemble my kits as is, because I like to show kit recipients other ways to use their supplies. I like to think outside the box, see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages, and more. So today Iām sharing with you two card ideas and a treat idea in case you want to use the supplies for classroom or co-worker Valentines.

One of my newer bundles, Everyday Arches has been my “obsession” these past few days. I was planning to just create one card, but my mind kept going in many directions. I have five fully finished cards to share in my video today (one that I will walk through completely and four that I will share specific helpful tips for). I have photos, measurements, a supply list, and a PDF for the main card and then photos, and an extra list of products for the additional supplies needed for those cards.

Have you ever made a card from a bag? I decided to try it and I’m in love with the results.
The fun fold card is made from the larger bag. So I also made a matching treat holder with the smaller bag. (These gift bags are sold together and are part of the suite. But you can buy them separately.)
A few hours ago I shared live on YouTube and on Facebook step-by-step directions for creating these card & treat bag sets. And now Iām sharing that video here in my blog post. Here are photos of the finished cards that I made from the largest of the bags. Closed they measure 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.
And open they measure about 14″ wide!
Here are photos of the finished treat bags that I made from the smallest of the bags.
When the flaps of the bags are shut, the bag shape will be more like a purse (in the shape of a triangular prism). So keep that in mind when planning what you’ll put inside. The base measures about 1-3/4″ x 3-1/4″. The height is about 3-1/2″.
Decorating the envelopes is optional, but so much fun!

It’s Show & Share Day! I’ve received quite a few stamped greeting cards & gifts from my paper crafting friends since my last Show-n-Share Live on 11/2/24.
