For those of you who want to make an out-of-the-ordinary holiday card this season, how about this 6-Panel Pinwheel Tower Card. I’ve shared how to make these kinds of cards in the past. (Click here if you want to see the two I shared on July 31st. And click here if you want to see the one I demonstrated in my how-to video on July 7th.)
Today’s version features the beautiful Peaceful Place Designer Paper. I also used the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set images and the Subtle Shimmer Sequins. All three of these products are from the Peaceful Place Suite in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. The beauty of products as part of a suite is that they were all made to coordinate together AND they can be ordered with just one order number.

Measurements
Pool Party Cardstock
Six pieces that are 2-3/8” x 4-1/4”
Basic White Cardstock
Two pieces that are 1-1/2” x 4”
Peaceful Place Designer Paper
Six pieces that are 2-1/4” x 4” (two each of three designs)
4-1/4” x 5” scored parallel to the short side at ¾”, 1-1/2”, 2-1/4”, 3”. 3-3/4” and 4-1/2”
Pool Party Sheer Ribbon
Two pieces that are 13”
Directions
Fold designer paper along all the score lines to form a 6-sided tube (connecting the ½” wide section to the other section on the opposite side). Hint: fold flat to connect. While flat, adhere Pool Party pieces (left edges of the Pool Party pieces should line up with the score lines of the tube and right edges should extend out from the tube. (If this doesn’t make sense based on the photos, click here and watch the video for my other tower card I shared on July 7th.)
Add the designer paper to the right-side Pool Party panels.
Stamp a tree in the lower left corner of each white vertical piece. Add these two on opposite sides of the card from each other.
Stamp sentiments on the other sections.
Add sequins using Multipurpose Glue.
Then tie on the ribbons so they wrap around the Basic White panels.

Tips…
For the background just cut in 1″ wide “C” shapes starting from the outside. (I got the idea from a set of pages that fellow demonstrator Chan Tal shared on Facebook in a demonstrator-only group. Isn’t this a fun?)
Cut the sides off the two envelopes to open them up all the way. This allows you to cut one with the trees along the bottom and one with the trees along the top. I recommend cutting those sections first before cutting the other two envelope pieces.
Remember to add the vellum tree pieces using adhesive only where the it will be covered.
The punched silver and black trees from the Evergreen Border Punch are just layered together so the black looks like a shadow to the silver.
Everything is flat to the pages except the “Holiday Cheer” page title piece which is added with Dimensionals.
The card is quicker to make. It’s a Bridge-Fold Card and really impressive when pulled out of an envelope because it pops out into its shape right away and can stand on it’s own.

Tree printed card base pieces from the kit
5-1/2″ x 6-1/4″ scored parallel to the short side at 1″, 2″, 4-1/4″ (a score line that would already be there), and 5-1/4″

Tips…
After scoring and folding the card base as shown, stamp any sentiment on the backside (where you can also sign the card).
Tie the ribbon around the Basic Black piece, add the punched and layered trees behind, and attach to the card base sides. To attach flatten as shown below: one side folded over on itself and the other open and flat. Then add the sentiment piece with Dimensionals.
The last step is to decorate one of the trees with “ornaments” (Red Rhinestones).

Just recently I received a unique card in the mail from a sweet lady named Jean Perron. I loved it so much and was inspired to make a couple versions of this fun-fold card (which I’m calling the Double Pocket Card).
So today I am sharing those cards AND sharing how to make an Origami Phone Stand, a gift that can be included in the pocket card because it folds flat!
I just showed live on YouTube about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these projects using the Heartfelt Wishes Stamp Set, the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Paper, the Simply Elegant Designer Paper, and the In Color Shimmer Vellum. I’m super excited to share my first set of alternate project ideas that I created using the contents of the October 2021 Peaceful Christmas Paper Pumpkin kit!
This kit contained the supplies shown below to make ten stunning Christmas cards.
But I never assemble my kits as is, because I like to show Paper Pumpkin kit subscribers other ways to use those supplies. I like to think outside the box…see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages and more. So today I’m sharing with you…

I’ve actually found several names for this kind of fun-fold card that I’m sharing with you today: Fold-Flat Box Card, Gatefold Box Card, Hidden Box Gatefold Card, and Gatefold Pop-up Box Card. But no matter what you call it, it’s an amazing greeting card to receive and a fun one to make.
Team member, Vy Tran led our group of demonstrators in making one last month during our virtual team gathering on Zoom. So I’d like to share the one I finished from that event AND show you the one she had sent to me back in August for my birthday.
This is my snowflake version that I made with the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Paper, Wonderful Snowflakes, and Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set.

Whimsy & Wonder Designer Paper
9-1/2” x 12″ scored parallel to short side in on each end at 2″ and 4″ then scored parallel to long side in on each end at 2″
3/4″ x 3-1/2″ scored parallel to short side at 1″, 1-1/2″, 2-1/2″, and 3″
3/4″ x 4″ scored parallel to short side at 1″, 1-3/4″, 2-3/4″, and 3-1/2″
Basic White Cardstock
3-1/8″ x 4-5/8″
Mossy Meadow Cardstock
1-5/8″ x 2-7/8″
Scraps for die-cutting a couple circles (1-7/8″ diam. and 1-5/8″ diam.)
Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
1-1/2″ x 2-3/4″
3″ x 4-1/2″
White Glittered Organdy Ribbon

Just apply her directions to the pieces you see in my card above. Oh! For the dark green snowflakes on the front, use a Sponge Dauber to add color to the back side of an iridescent one. Then add to the card using Tombow Monoadhesive Liquid Glue.
