You’ll be forgiven when your birthday card arrives late if it is made with the Fancy Flora Collection of products. The papers, die-cuts, stamp images, and embellishments are just too pretty!
I’m currently a little obsessed with it. After creating an exclusive project for the All Star Exclusive Video Class Bundle and another for the All Star Blog Hop, I just can’t put it aside. These belated birthday cards are my latest projects.
As you can see, changing out the designer paper layer gives them a whole new look. These are the papers I used for these four cards…
Oh! I just through of something!…a set of 24 cards each featuring a different paper design and a different sentiments from the coordinating Something Fancy Stamp Set to make a nice gift set of cards for someone. Too beautiful, right!?
Another project for another day though.

Measurements
- Basic White Cardstock
- 4-1/4” x 11″ scored parallel to short side at 5-1/2”
- 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”
- Fancy Flora Designer Paper
- 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”
- Other cardstock
- Scrap for stamping and die-cutting sentiment
- Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon
- 13″
Directions
- Die-cut the large detailed Two-Tone Flora Die on the 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” Basic White piece. (You may opt to add a layer of Adhesive Sheet before die-cutting, but I found it easier to just sponge on some glue when I needed to adhere it.)
- Stamp then die-cut the sentiment piece. Just pick coordinating colors to your patterned paper when choosing your cardstock and ink. I used Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Balmy Blue, and Orchid Oasis Cardstock on each of my four cards. And I used Evening Evergreen and Starry Sky for the inks.
- And now it’s super simple…Adhere the designer paper layer, add the white die-cut layer, tie on the ribbon, add the sentiment piece with Dimensionals, and finish off with a couple Iridescent Pastel Gems.
