I already shared some other alternate projects using the contents of this kit on September 23rd.

  • How to turn the supplies for the 18 treat containers into 36
  • Six Halloween cards made from one set of kit supplies
  • Three non-Halloween treat boxes

Today I am sharing…

  • A scrapbook two-page spread
  • Some fun masquerade/Halloween masks
  • A simple cauldron Halloween treat

Products I used… See below for a complete list of extra products I used linked to where you can find them in my online store.

Directions/Tips…

  • Use a scissors to cut the Basic Black strip into two. Flip one over and add black Glitter Washi Tape along the bottom straight edges to create the ground pieces.
  • Add black Glitter Washi Tape about 1/8″ in on all four sides of one of the 3-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ Starry Sky pieces.
  • Add black Glitter Washi Tape across the Fresh Freesia piece to cover the score line. And add this layer to the washi taped Starry Sky piece. Attach the spider and then with Dimensionals the stamped “trick or treat” scalloped circle.
  • When adhering the ground, the die-cut houses, the photo mats, and title piece, don’t add the adhesive close to the edges. This way you can tuck pieces if you need to. I also added a strip of black Glitter Washi Tape up next to the highest house.
  • Stamp the stars next to the houses.
  • After stamping the smaller ghost, color in the eyes and mouth with the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker. Add the ghosts with Dimensionals. And then just add a “trail” with the sequins.

Here is another way you could position the pages – with the ghosts on the inside. Which way do you prefer?

When I cut my boxes from the kit apart to create my alternate projects that I shared on September 23rd, I had leftovers that when put side by side looked like masks! So I decorated them up and created these.

Directions/Tips…

  • Use a mirror and figure out how far or close the two pieces should connect. Then adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • Widen the eye holes if you wish by just fussy-cutting.
  • Decorate with stamps and kit pieces. The “wings” on the white mask are the back sides of the ghosts. The bat around the eye on the orange mask was just one that I fussy-cut. But you could use a pencil and draw one. Then color it in with a Sharpie Marker.

What a fun way to fancy your face up without make-up for a masquerade or Halloween party.

This last idea is just a way to use up some of the black tissue paper that comes in the kit so you can make even more treats.

I created a scrapbook two-page spread, some masks, and a simple Halloween cauldron treat with supplies from the September 2022 Spooky Treats Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up!. I literally just tied five Dum Dum suckers together with some twine. I then added a square of tissue paper (about 7-8″ square) from the bottom up and added more twine to keep this in place with the sucker sticks showing out the top. It reminded me of a witches cauldron. I suppose that cute Witch Hat Punch and coordinating Bewitching stamp set would pair well with this treat, but instead I just added a stamped sentiment piece from the kit.
