Welcome to our monthly “A Paper Pumpkin Thing” blog hop! See what I have to share. Then check out all the other blogs in the hop to see additional creative alternate paper crafting project ideas that we each came up with using the contents of the September 2020 Hello Pumpkin Paper Pumpkin kit. Here is a photo of the intended projects from this month’s kit: 20 cracker box treat packages that you can create custom for fall crafts to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, pumpkins, and leaves.
And here are the supplies that came in this kit.
I got my kit a little later than I usually do, so today I’m sharing my monthly how-to video here and including LOTS of ideas for you. I’m loving this kit! I combined the extra items in the product list at the bottom of this post to the above kit contents and created some fun alternate projects that I’m sharing with you today:
- 4-sided and 3-sided boxes
- Doubling the treat containers (turning 20 into 40!)
- Napkin rings and luminaries for a fall dinner
- And several pop-up cards including a multi pop-up gate fold card
Watch my video first by clicking here to get to get measurements, directions, and tips (or you can just click on this image below if you are already in my blog post). Scroll down to see close-up photos, access the links that I mentioned in my video, and see a list of extra supplies (linked to my online store) that I used to make my creations.
Here are close-up photos of the alternate projects I made and shared in my video. (Remember to watch the video first to get measurements, tips and directions.)
4-sided and 3-sided boxes
These two were made by overlapping box segments.
Doubling the treat containers (turning 20 into 40!)
These were made by cutting the boxes in half and connecting the segments with scraps/cardstock to get two treat containers from one!
Two of these face on so you can see how I embellished them.
The third one face on as a dinner favor to go with…
A napkin ring and luminary for a fall dinner
3×3 pop-up cards
Pop-up card with money pocket
Multi pop-up gate fold card
I hope I inspired your creativity with what I shared today!
