I love leaves. I love trees. I love green. And I love the woods. So…I absolutely LOVE this card that I made for my dad for Father’s Day. I think he will too.

My parents bought the lake property they now retired to and live on when I was just 5 years old. We’d go up there and stay in a tent during the initial years before there was any cabin to sleep in. So this new Campology Stamp Set brings back memories of those years.

Measurements…

• Mossy Meadow Cardstock
  • 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored parallel to the short side at 4-1/4″
• Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
  • 3/4″ x 3″
  • 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
• Basic Black Cardstock
  • 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
• In Good Taste Designer Paper
  • 3″ x 4″

Tips…

• Emboss the front of the card base. To prevent getting an impression of the narrow embossing folder edge down the middle of the cardstock, position the top plate (in the “sandwich” for your embossing machine) so it doesn’t reach the edge of the embossing folder when rolling it through.
• Then sponge on some Mossy Meadow ink around the edges and inward a bit on the leaves.
• Stamp the trees on the woodgrain patterned paper. Stamp the sentiment on the punched strip. Adhere the strip to the woodgrain patterned paper and trim the excess.
• Add this to the Basic Black layer. Add this all to the front of the card with the Dimensionals. Then embellish with Antiqued Corners and a Gold Gilded Gem.

Now I just need to write on the inside and get it in the mail in time for Father’s Day.
