Thank you to all of you who have helped my son, Nick raise money for his Disney World Jazz Band Trip that will take place this January 2020 by ordering product this month using his host code. And thank you to any of you who still plan to order using his host code. There is still a day and a half left. 😉 CLICK HERE to watch Nick’s video so you can learn more about this fundraiser. And if you wish to order, please use the host code SNJMKRP9 which will expire at 7 PM Central Time on Sunday, June 30th (tomorrow).
He has raised over $400 with this fundraiser alone so far! And we are now sending out our second set of thank you cards. I’m sharing that card with you today. I used the negative pieces from the team birthday cards that I made and shared with you on June 22nd, because I couldn’t throw them away! And I love how this card turned out.
I’m calling it a “clip-in” fun fold card because the front flap folds inward and is held in place on the inside with a paper clip so it can stand on its own.
- Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 11” x 4-1/4″” scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2”
- Basic Black Cardstock
- 2-1/2″ x 4″
- Perennial Essence Designer Paper
- 2-1/2″ x 4″
- Daffodil Delight Cardstock
- Two pieces that are 2-5/8” x 4-1/8”
- Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products I used linked to where you can find them in my online store.
- Die-cut the cattails from the Basic Black Cardstock. Then adhere this to the designer paper using sponged on Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Adhere this to one of the Daffodil Delight pieces. Stamp the other Daffodil Delight piece.
- Use one of the Daffodil Delight pieces as a guide, then stamp the word “thanks” on the front bottom right of the card.
- Add the layered silhouette piece to the front using Dimensionals (placed only under the right half).
- Fold and add the ribbon, trim the ends at angles, then add the stamped Daffodil Delight piece to the inside of the card using SNAIL.
- Add the yellow Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots and a silver paper clip.
Stampin’ Up! created an awesome resource called a Greetings Index. It doesn’t include all the stamp sets, but it’s a visual reference for many of the stamp sets that include lots of sentiments. You can find it here on my website by clicking on the Greetings Index option in the What’s New drop down menu.
