I have been cleaning in my craft room, and I came across make-n-take materials from last November’s OnStage Live event in Orlando Florida when the 2019 Occasions Catalog products were introduced to the attending demonstrators! Too funny. I never put together the intended card. (Click here and look at the third photo.)
So I played around and came up with this Center Slide Easel Card. It features retiring products from the Happiness Blooms Suite: the Bloom By Bloom Stamp Set, the Happiness Blooms Memories & More Card Pack, the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots, and the already sold out Happiness Blooms Night of Navy Cards/Envelopes Pack.
I also added images from the upcoming new Delightful Day Stamp Set for the dots and sentiment images on the inside of the card.
I finished the card before the Night of Navy Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards/Envelopes Pack sold out, but didn’t share it here in time. So I gave it a make-over. I changed out the card base to a piece of folded 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Whisper White Cardstock, stamped the Bloom By Bloom images again onto a piece of 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ Night of Navy Cardstock (Okay, I lied. I don’t own this stamp set. So I cut down the already stamp card base that retired and used that.), added that to the front of the Whisper White base, and cut/reconstructed the base with these products because Whisper White and Night of Navy Cardstock can create an almost identical card. Hahaha!
This is the new card!
Here are the details if you wish to recreate it yourself.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products I used linked to where you can find them in my online store. Keep in mind the Delightful Day stamp set is not available until June 4, but the Happiness Blooms products are only available through June 3 (or while supplies last).
Measurements…
- Whisper White Cardstock
- 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and folded in half for the card base.
- 3-3/4″ x 2-3/4″
- Night of Navy Cardstock
- 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
- Whisper White Polka-Dot Tulle Ribbon
- about 11″
Directions…
- Stamp images with Night of Navy ink onto the 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ Night of Navy piece. Then cut 1-1/8″ off each side and score the middle section the other direction at 2-1/8″.
- Cut the front of the Whisper White card base piece the same way and adhere the Night of Navy pieces to the Whisper White so everything lines up.
- Stamp the flower images onto the 3-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ Whisper White piece with Call Me Clover, Melon Mambo, and Night of Navy ink. Add a couple enamel dots if you wish.
- Tie on the Whisper White Polka-Dot Tulle Ribbon. Then attach this piece with Dimensionals to the Memories & More 3″ x 4″ card.
- Adhere the back bottom portion of this the the front middle of the card base. (Be sure the adhesive is only at the bottom so that the middle can fold up as shown.
- Cut out some flowers from another Memories & More card. Add them to the inside of the card in the middle (the main one on Dimensionals) so that the flat edge of the raised middle piece creates a ledge for the easel to prop against when open.
- Stamp the sentiments and the extra dots with the Call Me Clover and Night of Navy inks.
Hope you enjoyed this fun fold! Have a great weekend. And travel safely if you are going out of town. We are gonna try our little camper out for the first time. 🙂

ANNUAL CATALOG NEWS
Due to recent supplier issues (and other factors), Stampin’ Up! will no longer be carrying the current die-cutting machine and trimmer: The Big Shot and Stampin’ Trimmer are retiring. These changes are giving Stampin’ Up! the opportunity to research and explore replacement options. But there will be a gap when we do not have a trimmer or die-cutting machine available. You will not see these items in the upcoming 2019-20 Annual Catalog that debuts June 4, 2019. Click here for more information.
