I recorded my first ever YouTube Live yesterday! I was a little thrown off at the beginning because I couldn’t see any comments coming through, but I decided to keep on creating (and just prayed that it was recording). Thankfully it worked. I have to figure out the glitch of why my viewers couldn’t comment while I was live. But I feel confident to try it again in the near future.
In that video (that I’m sharing here today), I created some alternate projects (fun treat boxes and mini note cards) using the contents of the Precious Parcel Card Kit, one of our 2019 Sale-a-Bration free picks with a $50 product order.
These are the cards that the kit instructs how to make.
I hope you enjoy these ideas! Be sure to watch the video (you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog), check out the measurements and supply list below, scroll through the close-up photos, and then let me know if you have any questions.
Here are close-up photos and the measurements you’ll need if you plan to recreate these projects.

I watch you every chance I get. Your do a great job. Being a retired teacher I think I can say you are an excellent instructor. I also admire your creative ideas. Thanks.
Thanks so much Marjee! I appreciate your kind words so VERY much.
(I taught elementary for 13 years before having children.)
Thanks for sharing this idea. I am making these boxes now to give to each of the ladies that will be on my scrapbook Retreat this weekend. There are eight of us all together. I am enclosing the 10 rules of chocolate to put in a small envelope to put in the slot with a box full of chocolate candy!
I pinned your instructions to my Pinterest board and I’m glad I saved them because now I’m making use of it. Thanks for your instructions.
Oh wonderful! I’m glad you enjoyed this idea and will be recreating them, Kathy! Have a fantastic retreat. ?
Simply LOVE what you created with this card kit. Would you mind if I created one of these for my February Early Bird Gift (of course I will create this idea back to you). I think this project would make a darling little gift. THANKS (as always) for sharing with us.
I would be honored! Thanks for wanting to CASE. 🙂
Once again, you have created another fantastic alternative. I so enjoy watching your videos and learning new techniques. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
Thank you Gail. I am so happy that you enjoyed my idea. And thank you for leaving me such a kind comment. 🙂
This is just the BEST project! I can not wait to make this for my postal carrier. She will love it. I make treat holders for all the postal employees at various times so I would need 3 of these kits to make 24 but I am not sure my craft budget could handle this. But, I know I can get one of these SAB kits to at least make some. I love little treat boxes and have made several of your creations. Your alternative ideas are the best!!! Thanks for all the tips you also provide for us also. Once I get this kit and make these boxes, I will let you know what my mail carrier says. She loves chocolate so this is even more perfect. Thanks for making my day!!!
Thanks so much Chris!! Yes, I would LOVE to hear what your mail carrier say. I also plan to give one my my guy. He is amazing and always delivers and picks up with a smile and often a short pleasant conversation. I really appreciate him.
Don’t know why my comment I posted yesterday appeared in the midst of all the January comments! Strange this technology is!
I still saw it. I just couldn’t respond until this morning. ?
