I’m so excited to share with you photos of the fun we had this past weekend up in Northern Minnesota at my parents’ cabin. I took my team member, Cheryl Lee with me on this Silver Elite Retreat. And like last year, the weekend was focused on pampering Cheryl and celebrating her Stampin’ Up! demonstrator accomplishments and successes.

My parents made the cabin so warm & welcoming with all their little touches.

My mom put out treats and decorations & made us fabulous meals.

My dad helped clean up from the meals, kept the long road in drivable, and kept the cabin cozy and warm. We even had a fire in the wood-burning stove on Friday evening. It felt like we were at a Bed & Breakfast.

My mom (who is also a paper crafter), Cheryl and I each made 13 cards on Saturday: four that I had created for this event and nine cards from kits – all with new products that will be available soon. (I’ll share more on the specifics of the cards in future posts, so be sure to stop back.) Here are the ones we created with the upcoming All My Love Suite.

This card below was the most difficult of all our cards to put together. But we all gave it “a go” and had success. Yay! I’ll have to do a video for it. 😉

And this was our favorite of the three kits – Incredible Like You Project Kit!

These are the “pillow gifts” I gave Cheryl. This first one I gave to her right away on Friday after we arrived. I created this bag with the Frosted Floral papers awhile back and shared it here on my blog back on October 2nd. I loved this bag so much, I HAD to use it.

Inside the bag and the box were these personalized gifts: an insulated lunch tote and an etched Clear Block D that Tamra Davis from TaDa Moments had made for me. (She made the personalized gifts for last year’s retreat too!)

Then throughout the day on Saturday, I gave Cheryl these product-filled bags decorated with coordinating tags also made from the Frosted Floral Designer paper. (I had received gifts from Stampin’ Up! during my Alaskan Incentive Trip this past July in these drawstring logo bags.)

All the gifts were clear or silver Stampin’ Up! products to keep with the theme of the Silver Elite Retreat. And the products inside sort of hinted to the next set of cards we would be making.

It was a wonderful weekend of celebrating my Silver Elite team member – one that I hope to continue for years to come!
