I keep looking back at the photos from my Alaskan trip wishing I would’ve shared a few more with you when I posted on July 30th.
So today I thought I’d do that along with pictures of some of my favorite swaps I got!
Swapping is a great way to get new ideas and samples for classes, events and just inspiration. Check out this fun pencil case made by Sophie Prestrelle, a demonstrator from France! She posted directions with a how-to video here on her blog.
This swap by Linda Bauwin inspired my last Facebook Live Video/Online Paper Crafting Class project (my cute Monster Box) that I shared on August 18th. This is a link to Linda’s blog post where you can also find her how-to video.
Here is a fun one by Erica Cerwin. She shared it her Facebook Live broadcast that she posted here on her blog. This is totally the ideal birthday card for me this year. Because though I’m 50 now, I don’t feel “old” yet. I’ll take “retro,” though. (I LOVED my boom box from the 80’s.)
This card by Jeanne Moss is so super cute! I can’t believe that I have this bundle and haven’t created with it yet.
And now my question (especially after getting THIS beautiful swap) is WHY DO I NOT OWN THIS BUNDLE? Oh my goodness! This card by Krista Frattin is so pretty!
Here is a sweet 3-D treat holder by Renee Kohnke. Wouldn’t this be great for wedding favors?
I think this card by Pam McLean is so super pretty with all the little details she added in.
Here is a fun, cheerful card by Judy Garza. It looks like she could’ve used the Stamparatus. But I think she actually lined up those flowers perfectly on her own.
Here is a card that I loved before I knew it was my swap. (I took a photo of Mindy Gray’s card on the display boards, because I was so intrigued with her flowers.) It’s such a beautiful sympathy card.
My dear friend, Kay Smith made this cheerful swap.
Here I am on the ship with her and her hubby, Kevin. They just celebrated 50 years of marriage! Yay! 50 years is definitely a reason to celebrate. 🙂
This next swap is from Natalie Travis, another dear friend of mine who I also got a selfie with on the ship. She also took good care of me when my back was sore. Hugs to you, Natalie!!
I have more stampin’ friend pics below, but I suppose I need to focus on swaps first. I have five more still left to share!
This next one is genius! I love how Eldonna Epp took leaf images and created this poinsettia.
Oh my goodness!! Look at the amazing detail that went into THIS card by Jacque Williams. She’s an artist. I love everything that this gal creates.
Lynn Feldkamp is another demonstrator who always makes lovely cards and projects. I shared her Alaskan cruise card swap a few days ago on my blog. And yay for me!! I got her 3-D swap, too! Yes, this whole collection below was her swap.
Here is a lovely card by Zahra Premji. I love all the tiny details that she put into this swap.
This last swap card by Amy Storrie is so happy. It makes me want to keep hanging on to summer. I really love what she did with this suite of products.
As you can imagine, one of THE best things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is making friends from all over the world. And I love that I get to see many of these friends each year on these fun trips.
with Susan LaCroix & Julie Davison
with Angela McKay and her husband
with Brenda Quintana
with Patty Bennett and Darla Roberts
with Marisa Alvarez, Wendy Cranford, Dawn Griffith, Angie Juda and Kara Golby
with Linda Heller and her husband
with Anja Luft
with Kylie Bertucci
with Debbie Henderson
with Scott Nielson, Susan Campfield and Selene Kempton
And this photo is of my husband and I with our friends, Silvia & Uwe Werner. We are on our balcony (which you can see is just below the Windjammer Cafe). Simone Bartrum who was in the floor below us took this photo for us.
We thought it was pretty fun that we had a room off the back of the ship that we could see from Windjammers. So one day after lunch, my son Luke had me wait while he ran down to our balcony so I could take his photo.
We loved our trip and keep reminiscing about all the fun we had. I probably won’t get by boys to take a sushi making class with me ever again,…
…but we made lots of great memories that we can treasure forever.
