On October 9th I posted a few samples of some September 2017 Paper Pumpkin projects I shared at our Demos Galore event on September 30th. I actually had triple duty during the event…demonstrating/chatting about Paper Pumpkin kits, sharing how to double the cards in the Watercolor Christmas card kit, and making announcements every 1/2 hour so attendees could hear about the specials, the make-n-takes, etc.
Almost a month has passed, and I’m finally getting around to showing you the fun gifts, the pretty name tag, and the make-n-take card from this event. These first two photos show the gifts we offered for every $50 in products ordered that day. People had their choice of these three.
Inside each Acetate Card Box were samplings of each sheet from a set of designer papers along with some coordinating embellishments. Everyone loved this offer, and we ended up having to prepare (right there at the event!) twice as many as we had projected needing.
The other gift was a smaller sampler of designer paper, base Whisper White cardstock prepped for a bridge-fold card, and a direction sheet sharing how to make a bridge-fold card. This gift was given to everyone who ordered a minimum of $25.
Each attendee & demonstrator at the event got to make a bridge-fold card (hence the gift above). I found a couple spare minutes to make one, too. This was mine! (On Tuesday evening I will be sharing another bridge-fold card and will give step-by-step directions for it. So come back to visit in a couple days!)
My upline, Susan Campfield designed the gifts, the make-n-take card and the name tags all of us demonstrators wore. Isn’t this name tag pretty?!
Here is a photo of me and one portion of my display/demonstration table where I shared how to double the cards in the Watercolor Christmas kit. (I had also shared this idea here on my blog on August 20th. Click here to see what I shared.)
This was the other portion of my display area where I shared about Paper Pumpkin kits.
Demos Galore was a spectacular event filled with several tables of demonstrators demonstrating, make-n-takes, tons of display boards of ideas, gifts and prizes, and refreshments. I highly recommend attending our next one on January 27th if you live nearby. It will be held in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Be sure you are signed up to receive my newsletters (see the link on the home page of my website) so you can hear about this and other online and local events coming up. Plus each newsletter shares timely news and project ideas.
Susan came over to visit me the other day and brought me a gift to once again congratulate me for earning the Alaskan cruise. This is the next Stampin’ Up! incentive trip being held next July 2018, and we are taking our boys this time. So she had the boys help me open it. And inside were these fun plush bears for them and books and seasoning for Tim and me! She’s such a sweetie.
Then to make the gift even better, she made this fun card from the new October 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit…
…and colored the letters on the inside with our new Blends markers (that are debuting on November 1st)!
Thanks for checking out what I had to share today. I hope you have a fabulous rest of your weekend! (We are going to carve our pumpkins tonight. Fun fun fun!)
Very nice display love seeing what you do marilyn
Thanks Marilyn. 🙂
So glad you liked the card and the present!! Can’t wait to cruise with you, Tim, and the boys! Thanks for being awesome! (By the way, the name tag design was originally done by Terri Gaines – I loved it so much I replicated it for our event!).
Ahhh! Thanks for letting me know you got the idea from Terri. 🙂
Yes, LOVED the gift! We tried the rub just last night. And the boys love their stuffed bears.
