The September 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit was fun to play with! I hope you enjoy what I have to share with you today. I created all that I will be sharing today (and this coming Thursday!) with the contents of one kit and a few extra supplies/products which I have listed below and linked to my online store.
Watch my video first to get measurements, directions, and really great tips for these projects…
- 2 simple note cards
- a cute owlet card
- two pillow boxes with windows
- a wine bottle (or door hanger) pouch
- a beautiful card featuring the Press-n-Seal technique
- and a pocket scrapbook page layout
Then scroll down to see close-up photos and a list of extra supplies I used to make them.
I put together a note card and box with this kit according to the directions.
And here are the projects I created and shared in my video.

Rachel, these are some of the loveliest alternates to our Sept pp kit that I’ve seen! And your video is terrific, with such detailed instructions on putting together the projects. I can’t wait to begin! Thank you for the time you took to give us the benefit of your ideas.
Ooohhh, Rachel! I sooo wish I weren’t a demo so I could be one of your MPP subscribers who get to see the rest of your owlet card!!! You *always* come up with the cutest projects, and all of your easy to follow instructions (video, text, *and* photos = totally awesome) make them so much fun. Thank you for being so generous with your creativity and time. Off I go to start CASEing … everything!
I am with Lynn even though I am just a hobby demo for now. I loved the video. I was going to the grocery store shortly after I watched it and I bought some Press and Seal to try your idea. Thank you for sharing a portion of your alternatives!
Well, you made me blush big time. Thank you for such a generously kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed what I shared. Hugs to you Kathy.
LOL! Wow…you made my day. Thanks for the huge pat on the back, Lynn. So glad you enjoyed my ideas.
Thank you Chris! Glad you liked that Press ‘n Seal idea. I learned it from another and now can’t remember who. Sigh… But it’s pretty cool, huh?! Have fun creating.
Absolutely stunning alternatives to the Sept Paper Pumpkin! I never thought to use the Press n Seal for card making, but I use it in the kitchen all the time. Thank you so much for the idea. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Guess it’s time to open my Paper Pumpkin now.
Oh! Thanks so much Bette!! 😀 And now you may need to store the Press ‘n Seal in your craft room instead.
Awesome alternatives for the PP! Thank you! I, too, wish I could see the rest of that owl but am also a demo. Love your ideas!
Thanks so much Carolee. 🙂
Hi Rachel. I just joined Paper Punpkin again this month and l see that on the October kit they would have you use the stamps from last month’s kit. Is there anything way l could get those stamps as l really would like to make the cards as directed. Thanks
Forget the previous comment. I read the box wrong.lol
Phew! I was concerned. Glad everything is good. 🙂 Feel free to email me directly when you have any issues with your orders: stampyourartout@comcast.net I tend to respond to emails quicker than blog comments.
