Still need a couple more ideas for the July Paper Pumpkin kit?
This is another 12×12 scrapbook layout that I made. It's untitled, but that's okay, because that will give me more flexibility for adding photos later when I go on my scrapbooking retreat this winter. AND…sometimes pages don't even need titles or words.
I used the 3" diameter Stitched Shapes circle framelit and a pale yellow Glitter Enamel Dot for this sky scene below.
For this section I used the new 2017-19 In Color Finely Woven Ribbon tied to the coordinating layers of cardstock. The Tranquil Tide cardstock layer is 11" x 2". The Lemon Lime Twist layer is 11" x 1-1/4". I used about 13" of ribbon around each layer – wrapping the extra around the ends. And then I tied on another 4" of each for the knot.
Here are the things you might need/want in addition to the July 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit to make the above page layout.

For this card I wanted to use the square flower printed layer from the kit as the main focus in my card. It is the same height as the folded note cards. So I stamped the "grass" and the sentiment with Lemon Lime Twist ink, layered it onto the card with Dimensionals behind each corner, and added about 13" of knotted Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon through the middle.
And on the inside (which was intended for the outside in the original kit card) I stamped "hooray."

This last card is super simple, but I had some supplies left and wanted to see what else I could make with very little added supplies. The only two items I added for this one was the card base cardstock and the green accents. The printed paper is from the lining in the envelope from the kit.

Hi Rachel,
I am commenting on your request for input regarding changes to your blog. Personally, I like it just the way it is! Some of the newer styles demos are using is harder for me to navigate. I like everything spelled out! I am not a fan of the lines that are being used that say select page. I also miss seeing the faces of the demonstrators. Seeing a face seems friendly and welcoming.i also like a blog that lets me see older recent posts without trying to figure out where they are hidden. I like seeing archives listed as I often note a date or month when I see a card I want to CASE. I do like Patty Bennet’s blog and even Mary Fish but I like the more informative style like Patty’s.I use to look at Brian King’s but now find it harder to use. Hope this helps you
Linda
I appreciate your feedback, Linda. Thank you so much for your details, too. 🙂
