I have quite a few ideas to share today. I created all of these with the contents of the June 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit titled One In a Melon and a few extra supplies/products from my online store.
Z-FOLD CARD
This first one I put together after hearing that some subscribers thought there were too many upside-down pineapples on the printed design of the card fronts that came in the kit.
(Here is the intended card design from the kit directions.)
You can see in the photo below how it looks like there are more pineapples facing the correct way on the bottom card that I flipped over the "wrong" way.
I took this upside-down card and scored down the middle of the printed side. I folded the card so the printed design was first on the inside. Then I folded back along that extra score line…
…to make a z-fold card!
And that's how I came up with a solution for those that were bugged a bit by the pineapples. 🙂

MEMORIES & MORE LAYOUT
This next project I would normally call my Project Life layout. But Stampin' Up!® now has their own pocket page memory keeping system…Memories & More. So ta-da!! This is my Memories & More layout. For those of you that are fans of Project Life, don't worry. Our Memories & More products are very similar yet coordinate even better with our other products. Click here to see our new line.
The "sweet" image from the kit's stamp set made me think of babies. So…stamped in another color (Lemon Lime Twist) and came up with this perfect baby photo page layout.
I layered the scallops, added some silver accents, and topped it off with our dainty 1/8" sheer ribbon.
I didn't add any white cardstock. Instead I opened up a couple envelopes in the kit and stamped the word "sweet" multiple times on those.
The Lemon Lime Twist ink is the only extra ink I used. So how did I get the two lighter greens? The top row of scallops are stamped in full color. To get the lighter green I stamped onto my scrap paper and then stamped onto my envelope paper.

BIRTHDAY CARD
My third project is another card. This time I wanted to bring out the lemons in the patterned paper in the kit instead of the watermelon. So I grabbed our new Lemon Zest stamp set and coordinating punch, punched a lemon from the yellow watercolor wash paper in the kit, and made that the focal point of this birthday card.
The ends of the banners and the lemon are all set up on Dimensionals.

12X12 TRADITIONAL PAGE LAYOUT
My last project is my 12×12 traditional page layout. (I have made a 12×12 page design with EVERY kit since the kits came to be back in March of 2013. CLICK HERE to see my YouTube videos on past kits. CLICK HERE and scroll down to "Past Paper Pumpkin Ideas" to see my archive of past Paper Pumpkin posts dating back to the beginning.)
I used the tissue paper from the kit to bring more Melon Mambo color (and watermelon look) to the right page. To adhere it to the Basic Black 12×12 paper I first added my photo mats and banner pieces to the front.
Then I flipped it over and added SNAIL adhesive behind these photo mats and banner. This method hides the adhesive from showing through on the front.
I wanted a thinner banner under the big one on the flag pole on the left page. So I used my Layering Ovals die (the largest one in the set) and cut one of the banners from the kit in half.
I also used this same die to cut a large, full watermelon from the gift box paper in the kit.
And the copper pole is just our new Copper Trim tied in a knot at both ends and attached with Glue Dots from the kit.
OH! And I masked my stamps to get the words "a sweet day!" together on my smaller banner. Yep, the stamp images are from the kit. 😀

You are so creative! I love all the ideas, especially the Z-fold for the pineapples! I just cut it off and turned it around on another card base! Have fun on your SU! Incentive trip,..you deserve it!
Thank you for the terrific ideas here! That lemon card is cute…nice to see another fruit used. Your ideas always amaze me; after a couple of weeks of seeing so many other samples, you still have new ways to use the kit.
Oh, I love you Susan. You are always giving me such sweet comments. Thanks hon!
Thanks so much, Kathy! 🙂 I had to laugh…yes, there are so many quick artists out there. I sometimes worry that I won’t be able to come up with something different. LOL
