I was able to produce quite a few alternate project ideas with this month's Adoring Arrows Paper Pumpkin kit. I started creating, and the ideas just kept coming! I only used ONE kit to make all my samples, too!! (I'm impressed with myself. LOL Usually I dive into two kits.)
I'm only doing one video for this kit (see below), but I'll have a 12×12 scrapbook page layout, a Project Life layout, another card and another treat box to share here on my blog on Monday. So be sure to stop back to see those projects.
For now I invite you to check out this first set of projects (and there are a LOT of them)…
- a couple ways to "double" your treats
- and 11 greeting cards (including a fun fold!)
Watch the video first to get tips, measurements and directions. Then scroll down to see close-up photos of these projects and a list of extra supplies I used to make them. By the way… After creating, editing and uploading this video, I discovered that I called the Calypso Coral ink pad "Cameo Coral." So sorry. That was a color Stampin' Up! used to carry years ago. Sorry for that mistake. (I also later discovered that I called the kit by the wrong name…it's "Adoring" not "Adorning." I must have had a lot to do the week I made my projects and video.)
Here are close-up photos of the alternate projects that I created from this kit that I shared in this video.
THE INTENDED KIT PROJECT
CELLO BAG TREATS
Stampin' Up! announced that there will be no refill or full kits available in the online store this month (usually there are), so that makes it difficult for those that need more Valentine treats than 24. If you are one of those people AND you've already put together your 24 treat bags, this project below is a way to make lots more treats using the few supplies that would be left over and a few extra Stampin' Up! products. With the supplies I mention in the video, you could make 50 more treats as shown here AND 40 greeting cards (shown next).
GREETING CARDS (4 of style 1)
And here are samples of cards you could make with the suggested additional products (again be sure to watch the video). You would have enough supplies to make 40+ cards!
GREETING CARDS (4 of style 2)
Here are a few other samples of cards you could make with the suggested additional products. These are stepped up a bit with the added doily accents.
CLEAR TINY TREAT BOXES
If you are someone who HASN'T made the treat bags that come in the January kit, this project below is a way to "double" your treats by just adding 2 0r 3 packages of Clear Tiny Treat Boxes. 16 come in one packet, so two packets would give you 32 (usually enough for a classroom of kids) and three would give you 48. With one full January 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit and 48 Clear Tiny Treat Boxes, you would literally double the mileage from your kit supplies by creating these boxes as shown.
INSIDE THE LINES CARD
DOUBLE FOLD GATE CARD (a fun fold!)
(I also shared this fun fold technique about a week ago with the Lift Me Up bundle. )
AMAZING FRIEND THANKS CARD
If you are one of my subscribers, you will be receiving my extra exclusive project ideas on February 2nd. Look for that email! Below is a sneak peek of one of this month's exclusive ideas. (I share a sneak peek project each month, but you need to be one of my subscribers to see the 10-12 other ideas. wink wink!)
These ideas go out to my subscribers on "project sheets," so they are printable. And they include the photo of the project, the supply list AND written step-by-step directions! Be sure to sign up with me as your demonstrator if you want to give Paper Pumpkin kits of creativity a try.
Not a subscriber yet? Want to know more about Paper Pumpkin kits and how to get in on the fun? Click here for more information. Or if you are ready to start your own subscription, click here to get signed up by February 10th so you can get your first kit by mid-February!
Prepaid subscriptions are another way to get in on the fun. You purchase 1, 3, 6 or 12 months all at once, enter your prepaid code into your Paper Pumpkin account (you will get an email after purchasing that gives instructions for this), and then enjoy each month for the number of months you purchased.
I highly recommend the 3-month or the 12-month prepaid right now. Click here to read more about Sale-A-Bration. Even current subscribers can purchase prepaids, because the prepaid code that comes via email after purchasing can be entered into a Paper Pumpkin account and it will override the credit card that is already in the system. I LOVE that Paper Pumpkin prepaid subscriptions count towards your purchases for Sale-A-Bration rewards! (I purchase my 12-month prepaid at this time every year.)
Thanks for checking out the projects I had to share today. Have a great rest of your weekend!
Product List… things you might need/want in addition to the January 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit to make any or all of the above projects. (Not all of it is necessary, but I included everything that I mentioned in the video.)
- candy (gold foil wrapped works well with this kit)
