Falling Flowers Special Day Card

I'm still holding on to a little bit of summer with my card that I am sharing today. It's similar to the pages I shared on September 4th. In fact, I created this card at the same time. Sorry it took awhile to share it with you all.

Would this be evidence that scrapbook pages are just bigger versions of cards? LOL

Measurements:

• Whisper White cardstock: two pieces of 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" (one for the inside of the card, too)
• Watermelon Wonder cardstock: 4-1/16" x 5-5/16"
• Flirty Flamingo cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4" and a 3" x 2" scrap for oval
• Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Paper: 2" x 5"
• Pear Pizzazz cardstock: 2" x 3-1/4" scrap
• So Saffron cardstock: 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" scrap
• Pool Party cardstock: 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" scrap

Tips:

• Banner Punch the end of the designer paper. Then use sponges to add color… Start with Flirty Flamingo and ink up the sponge. Daub off a bit of ink onto some scrap paper so it's not to dark, then using a circular motion add the color to the paper. Use a tissue to wipe the surface of the resist paper free of excess ink. Then move onto the next color and repeat the steps. Use So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz and then Pool Party.
• Stamp and die-cut the Pool Party flower, the So Saffron flower, and the Pear Pizzazz leaves.
• Stamp and die-cut the sentiment with the 1-1/8" x 2-1/2" oval die – Watermelon Wonder ink onto the Flirty Flamingo scrap.
• Assemble the card. The pink oval and yellow flower are added to the card with Dimensionals.
