Thursday I shared 3 versions of a card using the Basket of Wishes stamp set. Today I am sharing with you 3 cards made with the Halloween Scenes Edgelits and coordinating stamp set. Just like the cards I shared Thursday, each of the 3 versions of this card share the same supplies. And each of these cards feature new product in the 2016 Holiday Catalog that was just released September 1. I hope you like them!
(I've listed all the products I used to create these cards below.)
For each card I began by die-cutting a tree from a piece of Soft Suede cardstock (see measurements below). Then I added a fence behind the tree and grass in front. I tucked some pumpkins just behind the top edge of the grass and tied it all up with some Pumpkin Pie twine.
Measurements:
- Whisper White Thick Cardstock: Either 11" x 4-1/4" folded in half for the card base OR 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded in half.
- Crumb Cake Cardstock: 1-3/4" x 4-1/8"
- Soft Suede Cardstock: 3-1/2" x 4-1/8"
- Wild Wasabi Cardstock: 1-1/2" x 4-1/8"
- Whisper White Cardstock: scrap piece that is big enough to stamp and die cut the pumpkins
- Halloween Night Pumpkin Pie Twine: 2 feet
Tips:
- Stamp then die-cut the pumpkins.
- Die-cut the tree and fence. Tear about a 1/4" off a long edge of the Wild Wasabi cardstock.
- Assemble these 4 tree layer pieces.
- Wrap and tie on the twine and attach tree layer to the card base.
- Then stamp any other words or images onto (and/or inside) the white card base.
I felt it already had enough dimension, so I just used SNAIL adhesive to attach the tree layer to the card base. Dimensionals would've given it too much of a lift.
