I hope you are all enjoying your Labor Day weekend. We are taking it easy…gathered with my husband's side of the family in Owatonna, MN yesterday and enjoyed an afternoon of food, nice weather and conversation.
The tree in Grandma and Papa's front yard is amazing!
Some of the family (Justin, Jackson, Collin, Nick, Papa, Luke and Grandma) enjoying some time on the back patio.
Nick is in deep thought (or just zoned out). He's probably tired from playing games (football and cornhole) in the yard all day.
One of the highlights was being able to see and play with cute little Jackson. Luke gave him a LOT of attention. He loves little kids and will make a great dad someday.
Tonight the boys are going to have a couple friends sleep over. They are excited!
Now that summer is ending and my boys will be back in school I am looking forward to having a solid 7 hours to myself each weekday. One of the activities I miss and am planning to do this October (I've even set aside a whole week for it) is to catch up a bit on my personal scrapbooking. I think I'm at least 2 years behind with the boys books!
I love that I'll have a bunch of pre-made pages ready to fill, though! Since I create at least 2 sets of scrapbook pages each month (one set with my Paper Pumpkin kit and one for my monthly class), I have a lot of pages ready to pick from when it comes time to get my personal photos into albums.
Here are the pages that I prepared for my scrapbooking class this next weekend. In fact these pages currently fill the cover photo for my Facebook page. I love the colors! (See the supply list below)
I used the falling flowers stamp set and coordinating framelits.
This Irresistibly Floral specialty designer paper is amazing. Just sponge on color and wipe off excess. The embossed areas on the designer paper resist the color!
There is a reason why Stampin' Up! makes coordinating products. Look how great these thinlits and stamp images look together.
Have a fabulous rest of your weekend and beginning of September.

What a beautiful layout…it’s so pretty I’d hate to put pictures on it, LOL
The pages are so beautiful I may have to start scrapbooking. Lovely!
Too funny!
Thanks, Kim. 🙂
Love it!
Glad my pages could possibly convert you. Thank you for your sweet comment, Mary.
