I presented last Sunday at a huge event for demonstrators here in Minnesota called Creative Connections.
It was a grand event with a little over 200 demonstrators in attendance! The decor and displays were amazing. And the presenters shared a ton of great project and business ideas!
When it was my turn I talked a bit about Paper Pumpkin (of course!) AND I demonstrated projects that I had made with the Serene Scenery Suite of products (shown on pages 102 & 103 in the 2016-17 Annual Catalog).
If you visited my blog on Monday you already saw close-up photos for a set of 12×12 scrapbook pages I had made using this suite of products and the new limited-time Thoughtful Branches bundle. So today I'd like to share a few close-up photos of a set of cards I made with the Serene Scenery papers and the Jar of Love stamp set & coordinating thinlits.
I designed these pages and cards so I could offer them as classes in August. You can take these classes in person if you live locally or you can take them if you live long distance (through the mail – the "to-go" option). CLICK HERE for more information about these classes.
If you get my newsletters, you probably already had a glimpse of these projects. But as I did with the pages on Monday, today I wanted to share a few close-up photos so you could see the details in my Jar of Love cards a bit more.
This one is a "shaker" card – the confetti and sequins shake inside the jar. (Too fun!)
I LOVE this cute fishy! So I had to put him in a jar, too. hehehe
But the last two cards don't use the jar images at all.
I adore the flowers that can be stamped and die-cut with this Jar of Love bundle.
And this tranquil card doesn't even require an die-cutting.
I have another set of cards that I created and presented at the July 24th Creative Connections event. So stay tuned for those in a future post! (You'll ALL be in love with the Serene Scenery papers if you aren't already.)
For every $50 you spend in between July 7 and July 31 (before shipping and tax), you’ll get a $5 Bonus Days coupon that you can use August 2–31. Click here to read the details of this promotion. Just a few days left!!

Looks like fun! Beautiful cards Rachel! I keep telling myself I don’t need this DSP – your cards aren’t helping 🙂
This paper was one of the first things on my wish list when we could order from the new catalog. I was stumped until I forced myself to play with it. Glad you like the ideas I shared. Thanks Holly!
