I just couldn't stop creating! (Gosh I love Paper Pumpkin kits!)
The June Banner Surprise kit had so many unique and fun elements, I just kept on going even after recording the projects for my videos that I shared on June 29th and July 3rd.
The first thing I made was this Project Life layout. I was inspired by a card that Dawn Stock had created and shared on the Paper Pumpkin Fan Club on Facebook. She shared her idea of using the circular "lines" stamp from the kit for stitches on a baseball. And I just had to share this cleverness in my own project!

- Mint Macaron 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [138337]
- Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad [126949]

Here is a peek at how I made this piece of the layout…
But then I kept looking at the layout and it just didn't feel right to me. So I took out the Mint Macaron (green) pieces and set the page aside for awhile. I grabbed the smaller green piece, added a bit more, and then turned it into this card.

Rachel, this post totally blows me away!!! Baseballs with this Paper Pumpkin. Oh my how wonderful. Never would have thought of that. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Totally awesome!!!
Amazing creations Rachel! Love them all, so many different ideas. I really need to try the shaker cards, just need a few more supplies to make them. The Lollipop one is cute and the baseball idea is excellent. Thanks again 🙂
Thanks, Phyllis. I felt like these projects were even better than the ones I did in my videos. Oh well. LOL I know…that baseball idea! I’m so glad I saw the idea of a baseball shared on Facebook. Not sure if I would’ve come up with that one on my own.
Thanks Raewyn. Glad you liked them. I think these ideas were my favorites of all the projects I created with the kit.
