- Sweet Sugarplum
Here are these new colors up close. I've included comparisons to other current and past Stampin' Up! colors with the best of my hurry-up-and-post photograph editing abilities. I'm sure there will be better comparisons out there on the internet soon, but I wanted to give you all a better idea quickly of these fabulous shades. You will love them all!
And here are more photos from OnStage 2016 showing more new stuff!
Foxy Friends stamp set and coordinating punch…
Hello Lovely Project Life Accessories and Card Collection…
Baby Bear stamp set…
I know! I'm sharing a LOT. And I have even more pictures that I can share later. For now I'll just add these and be done. These photos come from when Shelli Gardner, the co-founder of Stampin' Up! and her daughter Sara Douglass, the CEO stamped together on stage and shared ideas they each came up with using 4 different stamp sets. It was fun to see how different the cards were using the same sets.
Marquee Messages stamp set…
Touches of Texture stamp set…
Pop of Paradise stamp set…
Moroccan Nights stamp set…
Hope you had fun seeing some of the new stuff! Thanks for visiting today!!
Oh My Goodness Sweetie — you weren’t supposed to show any of this before 1:00 pm MST today (Monday April 18th)!!! Oooooops
It posted today at 1:00 Mountain time, Wendy. I didn’t have it done until minutes before.
Ahhh! I know what happened. I was rushed at the last minute to post it on time and I clicked the wrong settings on the publish date/time. I think I hit the 16th and it registered as that when it went live. I’m a rule follower, so I promise you it didn’t post any earlier. Heavens… I wouldn’t have had it ready any earlier! LOL Thanks for the comment or others may have thought the same. I republished it with the correct date. Sigh.
Rachel,,,,,,,,,,o my goodness. love the new colors. thanks for doing the comparison with the other su colors. so looking forward to the new stamps, new dies, everything new!!!! thanks for sharing what you did. can’t wait to see more.
have a wonderful day
Caroline
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh — I feel better now, LOL š I don’t want anyone to get in trouble, especially you!! I love seeing all your pics. You did a better job than I did capturing it all. Wasn’t it just wonderful??!!??
I appreciate the kind way you checked in on me. I’m really glad you pointed out that glitch, because it looked bad. LOL
And I’m glad you like the pics so far. I will try to share more this week. Yes…super fun event!
Thanks, Caroline! It’s such an exciting time of the year, right?! š
Thank you for sharing. I love the color comparisons.
So glad! Thanks, Sibylle.
Wonderful ideas, as usual. TFS
Thanks so much for sharing, Rachel! Love those new colors and it was very helpful for you to compare them with other colors in the same family.
I so wish I could have been with you all at On Stage…thanks for sharing it with those of us who couldn’t share in the excitement.
So many photos of the fun, right? AND I’m trying to get the rest posted today.
You are so welcome, Kim. Glad you liked the comparisons, too. Sort of a last minute thought, so there may be clearer photos out there by someone else soon. But for now, they help to show the difference.
Do not stress about showing before time. There is too many other more important things in life to worry about Thank you for sharing
From a long time SU customer
Hahaha…yes there are. But I am a rule follower which is why I was totally shocked that it appeared that I was early. Fixed the glitch though, and now it shows that I WAS following the rules. LOL Hugs to you Jennifer!
Nice article love all the new Stamping up products! Thanks Connie-BestCraftStorage.com
Thanks, Connie!
Have you had a chance to compare peekaboo peach to Apricot Appeal? I looove AA and am hoarding my last package. I wish they would bring it back and am dying to see if they are similar!! Sure hope so!
PP looks darker, though. š
That is a color I didn’t have on hand anymore. š But yes, I think you are right. I remember Apricot Appeal was lighter. I too loved that color!
Is the paper with the little blue hearts a new Stampin’Up paper? It’s shown on the card with the skunk.I don’t see it in the new catalog. Love the way you compared the colors. I am looking forward to using all of these.
Yes. It’s called “A Little Foxy” and it’s a 6×6 paper stack. New, fun stuff is just around the corner now!
I just now saw these in color cards. Is the DSP layer actually DSP, envelope paper, or did you create it yourself? If you created it, how did you do it?
I haven’t seen any scopes from you, or anyone else, for that matter, lately. Loved your scopes:)
Thanks Trish. It’s been a scope-less summer. My boys are home and there is no quiet time to Periscope. As it is I have to find a sitter just so I can do my Paper Pumpkin videos each month. LOL
The In-Color card background design was created by stamping a square repeatedly onto Whisper White cardstock. Brandi Cox shared those during this OnStage Stampin’ Up! event. Most of the samples on this page are photos I took while attending this event.
It was so nice how you checked up on her in a nice way.. Most people are so critical.. just throwing in the sweetie changes the whole feel of the comment.. thanks for watching out for our friends.. in a nice way
