Just in case you are looking for one more Valentine card idea. (Hope this isn't too late in the game to share.)… This card sort of goes along the same path as my January 27th card and my February 4th Project Life page. I used a bit of "puzzle-piecing" to emphasize the yellow flowers in the background.

And for the pink flowers in the foreground, I curled the petals a bit using my bone folder so they would pop out more.

For a bit a balance with the card design, I added a couple small pieces from a second die-cut heart so I would have some greenery coming out over the sentiment. It looked pretty empty there without them.

Sometimes we forget to make the inside of the card fancy too. So I added another sprig and an extra pink flower.

I'm getting very excited for the completion of my craft room! If you have been following my blog, you know that it has been a huge project that started in early December. (Click here to read and see where we left off.) Well I'm excited to say that we are nearing the end of this fantastic project. And my dream room will be completed this month – hoping by mid-month! (Can you tell I'm giddy!?) I can't wait to post more pictures here on my blog & make my video to give you a tour!

Next week, my mom and dad are coming to stay with us to help me put the finishing touches in…the window treatment (I can't believe I will finally have shades after 10+ years of living here), a special vinyl wall decor piece, my clock (because I've needed one in this room forever!), wrought iron brackets (a decorative touch over my desk area), a few touch ups, and the ceiling lights (dimmable too)!!

Here is a peek at one of the room decor pieces I put together just recently. I'll share with you what this turned into and where it is located soon. (I actually have two of them!)
