I had some nice comments on my January 27th post. I guess many of you liked the card. Thank you! So I today I thought I would share another project I created using this same "puzzle-piecing" technique to give you all another idea and color combo and to show you that you can apply card designs to your memory keeping as well.
This will be the Project Life layout my class attendees will be able to make on February 12th.
Here are a few more photos. The close-ups are a bit clearer. (Sorry about the graininess of the first photo.)
The colors I used are So Saffron and Hello Honey for the rose and Pear Pizzazz for the leaves. Be sure to go back to my January 27th post (click here) for the tips and techniques for putting these roses together. By the way, I've listed all the supplies I used to make this layout at the bottom of this post.
Measurements:
- Pear Pizzazz cardstock: 6-1/8" x 4" and 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" scrap
- So Saffron cardstock: 3" x 3"
- Hello Honey cardstock: 3" x 3"
- Basic Black cardstock: two 5-7/8" x 3-3/4" (one for middle layer and one to die-cut the rose/leaves) & 6-1/8" x 4"
- Sahara Sand cardstock: 5-3/4" x 3-5/8"
There are extra black pieces of cardstock in 5 other pockets, but those just represent 3" x 4" and 6" x 4" photos.
In this bottom right-hand corner piece it looks like I have an extra leaf, but my 5th leaf is actually the left over piece from what was trimmed off on the cluster of 3.
Thanks for checking out what I had so share today.
Have a fabulous Thursday!
