We had our Thanksgiving Holiday with my husband's side of the family yesterday. Nick and Luke's favorite part of the visit was spending time with their oldest cousin's little 19-month old, Jackson.
We ALL couldn't get enough of this little cutie.
After dinner, the gals got crafty. This is cousin Erin, the mom of little Jackson. As you can see, we got crafty AND a little silly.
Grandma led us all in making sparkly pine cone ornaments, and Auntie Kelly's craft was filling and decorating mason jars of candy. Very fun!
Then it was my turn. I brought a Paper Pumpkin kit. (Surprise, surprise!) I broke out last year's October 2014 Sweet As Pie kit. (The refill kit for Sweet As Pie is on sale this week during the Online Extravaganza.)
Then I shared a few alternate ideas – ones I had made and ones I had found on Pinterest (but told them that I only had supplies to make a Christmas tree version and the pie with whipped cream)…
Three decided to make Christmas tree boxes and four made pie boxes.
Terri, Chloe and Jocelyn smiled for my camera sharing what they made.
Here are the creations of Kelly and Grandma Edie.
And Halle and Erin shared their trees.

If you like this Sweet As Pie Paper Pumpkin kit, the refill kit (the one without stamps and ink) goes on sale for 1/2 off tomorrow for a week.
Awesome ideas, Rachel! And so timely with the kit going on sale tomorrow! I. Love the idea of sharing a time for crafts with family… Such a great way to connect around the table. Nice idea to have others bring an idea to share, too! Could we see a photo of the pine one and candy jar crafts? Thanks for continuing to inspire us!
Looks Like a lot of fun. I will have remember to pull out some Paper Pumpkin kits on Thursday!
My response is a little delayed, but thank you so much Patricia for your sweet words. Hugs!
Did you end up crafting with your kits, too?
