Fun Times at the Paper Pumpkin Palooza

On Sunday I hosted a super fun event called Paper Pumpkin Palooza. Those that came received gifts, prizes, treats, special shopping deals, and these adorable make-n-takes.

This first one was made with the stamp set from the June 2015 Happy Thoughts kit. We turned the flower stamp image into a fried egg. And the pan and egg yolk are created with 3 simple punched pieces of card stock. I know, right?! So fun.

I kept the make-n-takes simple and quick. But if you would like to recreate this, the yolk is crying out for some Crystal Effects to make it shiny and to round it out a bit.

The Whisper White card base is 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" and the striped designer paper is 4" x 4".

The other two make-n-takes were two gift tags. We used the November 2014 Simply Snowflake kit and nothing else. I LOVE that kit! (It's no wonder it sold out right away during the first day of the Online Extravaganza sale.)

There were pumpkin flavored treats.

And each person that attended received a decorated box filled with some of my past Paper Pumpkin creations and the supplies needed for the make-n-takes. Each box contained different creations. It was fun to see everyone check out each others' gifts.

I decorated each box with an image from a past "demonstrator only" stamp set (one of our past business supply items) and the items listed here.

And because each box was from a Paper Pumpkin kit that had been mailed to me at some point, I covered all the mailing labels with a piece of Watermelon Wonder card stock. I thought this color worked pretty well being that the kits aren't really a true red.
