I am having fun with corner fold cards lately. I posted one back on the 23rd of September that I made with the Watercolor Wings butterfly. Did you see it? Click here to check it out. And here is a quick video I put together to show how easy this fun fold card is to make.
Today I'd like to share the one I made with the Ornament Thinlit dies. And at the bottom of my post are the supplies I used to make it. They are linked to my online store. So if you want to recreate it, you can click on the products to go shopping. 😉
My measurements:
- Mossy Meadow card stock (11" x 4-1/4” folded in half to make a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card)
- Blackberry Bliss card stock (2-3/4" x 2-3/4”, 4-1/8" x 5-3/8", and a 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" scrap for the ornament)
- Whisper White card stock (2-5/8” x 2-5/8” and 4" x 5-1/4")
- Old Olive card stock (2-1/2" x 2-1/2")
- English Garden Designer Series paper (1-5/8" x 4" scrap)
- Silver 1/8" Ribbon (about 7")
Tips:
- Sponge Mossy Meadow ink onto the designer paper piece starting on one long edge and working your way inward in a circular pattern for a soft gradient appearance.
- Then stamp splatter image on with less ink on the stamp to get the lighter purple color. To get less ink, first stamp onto scrap paper, then without re-inking stamp the image onto the designer paper.
Be sure to watch the video above for tips on creating this fun fold card base. It's super easy.
