I am excited to present to you my August 2015 "Chalk It Up To Love" Paper Pumpkin ideas video! In fact I'm more excited than usual…1. because I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this kit & 2. because it was super hard to find quiet time for recording with the kids still on summer vacation, but I accomplished the task!
Check out the video, then scroll down to see close-up photos of these alternate project ideas AND the supply list for the extra products I used to make them.
By the way I went a little crazy and made even more projects than shown in the video…in fact, more projects than I normally do. So watch for some upcoming posts to see a decorative box of note cards (alternate layouts from the ones that are shown in the kit images above), 3 more alternate note cards, a 12×12 traditional scrapbook layout, another 12×12 page, and a couple mini boxes. Plus, yesterday I shared a unique idea: a string of pretty lights. Click here to see those.
Here are close up photos of what I demonstrated in the video. Be sure to watch the video for tips and extra information. (Watch it in small chunks. It's a long one!…again.)
The box the kit shows how to make in the directions…
My Project Life layout…
A 12" wreath…
"Drawers" for storing school supplies (for a school locker)…
Magnets (for a school locker or fridge)…
A bookmark…
A decorated composition book (an idea not shared in the video but one that coordinates with the "Back to School Ensemble")…
And then the new way I am now storing my Paper Pumpkin stamp sets…Thank you Connie Stewart for sharing this idea on the Paper Pumpkin Fan Club Facebook group!! I decorated my 6" x 8" Project Life albums with designer paper and card stock. The back album's designer paper and ribbon is retired and not available. But here is a list of the supplies I used to decorate the front album:
- English Garden Designer Paper
- Crumb Cake Card Stock
- Crumb Cake Stitched Satin Ribbon
- Multipurpose Adhesive
- 6" x 8" Project Life Album
- 6" x 8" Pocket Pages
(The stamp image on the album labels comes from a promotional stamp set that is exclusive to demonstrators only. If you are not a demonstrator or don't have access to this stamp set, you could always use part of the "thank you" card or sticker that comes in each kit to make your label.)
Most of you know that I'm really obsessed and in love with Stampin' Up!'s Paper Pumpkin kits. I make videos, I pin ideas on Pinterest, I give 8-10 extra exclusive ideas to my subscribers each month, I offer Paper Pumpkin clubs for those that want to get free stuff, I have events locally, and I randomly "gift" my subscribers to show them that I appreciate them.
Well now Paper Pumpkin alternate ideas are being shared on Facebook! Join us!
