It's my last day of preparing and packing for convention. And it's going to be a busy one.
Tomorrow morning I take off for Salt Lake City, Utah to join up with about 4,000 other Stampin' Up! demonstrators for our annual Inspire. Create. Share. event! This will be my 16th Convention in my 15-1/2 years as a demonstrator. I'm so addicted to the fun, training, swapping, inspiration, motivation, ideas, etc. AND I get to see a whole bunch of my long-distance friends again!
Besides getting my nails done, running my last few errands, laundry, and packing, I'm also finishing up my gifts (for my team, roommates, etc.) and swap cards. This is one of the swaps I still have yet to finish. I just HAD to use the new Garden In Bloom stamp set and the new Blushing Bride sequins from the Sequin Trim in one of my cards. (Those are a just a couple of my favorite new items in the catalog!) So I used them together on this swap.
Instead of attaching a strand of the sequins (which was my original plan), I got a bit more putzy and separated the trim to attach individual sequins with glue dots.
This scallop cut-out comes from the Striped Scallop Thinlits Die. I was able to cut out 4 from each die-cut.
Thankfully the only step I have left to do today for these cards is adding the sequins and slipping the cards into clear envelopes. I could do that on the plane tomorrow if my other tasks take up too much time today.

Super cute!
🙂
These are so cute! I love the idea of using pieces of the scallop die. Can’t wait to play with mine and incorporate it into some card ideas~!
Thanks, Donna. 😀
